Vegetarians will also find something here. There is also delicious craft beer on tap and from the bottle. The interior is a bit sober, but the boss, Olaf, and the staff are warm and helpful.

The food was great, both the burger and the side dish! The staff was also very friendly and accommodating! Price / performance was also more than convincing! The only negative point was our place, right by the window, where not only we felt we were watching, but also all passers-by who passed by. But overall worth a visit and certainly not the last!

Overrated! We wanted to come and try this shop for a long time, aside from the bun and fresh ingredients the meat was rubbery and blend and they showered my burger with a "hausgemacht" ketchup which tasted like Bolognese sauce, at least metion it in the menu that you dip your burger in a tomato sauce that tasted nothing like ketchup, when we informed the waiter about our problem he was so arrogant and rude, really nothing much that an overrated below the average shop.

Delicious food and attentive service. The changing burger creations are innovative and tasty. The owner and the staff are very friendly throughout. The location is ideal with a view of the U tower. We would love to come back.

My first visit with no expectations. A large open restaurant with a good overview. The wait staff are great, attentive and friendly, I felt very welcome. The friendship is relaxed. My personal shortcoming with the seating furniture is the lack of backrests. The general volume is louder, sometimes quieter, depending on the number of guests. The map is big, but not too big. All dishes are of high quality. Good price / performance ratio. You get full. It was delicious, but it didn't knock my socks off. Conclusion: I will definitely visit the restaurant again.

Simply put: the best burger in town. And it makes sense: almost everything is homemade starting by grinding best Neuland meat every day to make his own patties over fries and sauces! When I asked him why: “Because any other way you have at least salt in the patty or too much sugar for the ketchup.” Come here if you like an authentic Dortmund experience paired with friendly staff, good beer selection, and delicious burger!

We had bbq ribs and pulled pork burger. It was amazing!!!! Ribs was so juicy and off the bone succulent!! the pulled pork was also really awesome!! And the Habanero-naga...something..hot sauce was to die for!!! It was delicious pair with the bbq sauce on the ribs. for those who crave real spicy...this is the place for you!! ??. they also have nice collection of beer too, we'll definitely come back again.

You can see the burgers being made right in front of you. Everything here is made to order . So much better than food brother. Yes though it’s only 3 stars since I have had much much better.

Wonderful place, so friendly staff

Three weeks of work in Dortmund - luckily a colleague recommended Olafs to me. Service that does not do a job, but the "product" loves, the different beers (there is something beyond Pils and wheat ...) knows and like a sommelier the right accompaniment to the meal and discourages from mishaps. The food is honest and solid without SchickSchnack but with a lot of taste. The Olafs will see me again - just need reasons to come to Dortmund ...

Friendly place, good attention, food was okay but expensive, same with drinks (two burgers two beers 27€). Ketchup I personally didn't like (many burgers have the homemade ketchup)

Honestly one of the best burgers I've ever had and definitely the best food I ate while in Dortmund. The buns were beautifully soft and the sauce was heavenly. I got the BBQ burger and practically inhaled it, it was so good. Would absolutely come back if I visit Dortmund again. The atmosphere inside was super chill and the guys who served me were so friendly and welcoming.

You get great food and good quality for your money. I tried the ribs and they were delicious, well cooked and also very cheap. The staff is also very friendly and the staff are also happy to talk with the customers. I will gladly come again.

Nice beer and hamburger

If you are looking for a beer that has more taste than your standard "Pils" then you don't need to go much further than Olafs - A good range of "Craft" beers and a knowlegable host who can give you some tasting notes on what you are drinking - We had eaten but the food being cooked looked and smelt good - going back tomorrow to try

You would walk by this restaurant and leave this place be, judging from the looks thru the window. But go in! The journey of wonders will start right away. Let yourself be surprised with good food, real German specialties and a good laugh. The people how work here make your stay and food special. Take their advice about beer or any other drinks. Strange combinations work out fine. We (group) never tasted a medium burger that was so good! Try their knusperchips. We had nearly everything of the menu. All worthwhile to choose. Thanks guys! We will come back soon from Assen Netherlands.
